Teacher Personality Development Through Integrated Methods and Strategies
Abstract
This study aims to describe the significance of teacher personality development in enhancing educational quality and strengthening teachers’ professional competence. Teacher personality plays a central role in shaping classroom climate, influencing student behavior, and supporting effective learning. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach integrating in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. Data were analyzed through stages of data display, verification, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that teacher personality development requires an integrated and systematic strategy combining training, coaching, role modeling, supervision, and reflection. Institutional support and a conducive environment are essential in sustaining teachers’ personal growth, especially in emotional stability, interpersonal communication, and ethical decision-making. Teachers with strong personality competence create positive learning environments, model moral behavior, and contribute to students’ holistic character development. Personality development is most effective when implemented as a long-term, structured process rather than a one-time intervention.
