Proceeding of International Interdisciplinary Conference And Research Expo (IICARE) on Ethical Implications of Globalization in Educational Policies and National Curricula E-ISSN:  3047-163X  (online), organized by The Institute of Cross-Cultural Studies & Academic Exchange in collaboration with Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Salatiga, Indonesia, Salatiga, Central Java, Indonesia 5-7 January 2024.

Salatiga State Islamic University held the International Interdisciplinary Conference and Research Expo (IICARE). The activity with the theme Ethical Implications of Globalization in Educational Policies and National Curricula was held three days, Friday-Sunday (5-7/1). The activity, a collaboration between UIN Salatiga and the Institute of Cross-Cultural Studies & Academic Exchange, was opened directly by the Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Institutional Development at UIN Salatiga, Prof. Muh. Saerozi, M.Ag. "This activity is a form of UIN Salatiga's commitment to entering the global arena and is an application of PTKIN development values (accreditation, internalization, and digitalization). "Apart from that, IICARE is a means to increase the competitiveness of UIN Salatiga so that it can be more advanced than others."

The AIICARE LP2M UIN Salatiga invites scholars, researchers, and practitioners to participate in the 2025 Annual International Interdisciplinary Conference and Research Expo (AIICARE), themed "Approaches to Sustainability: Bridging Science, Society, and Culture." The event will be held on 3–4 November 2025 at Laras Asri Hotel, Salatiga. Full paper submissions are due by 22 October 2025, followed by peer review from 24–31 October, with revision deadlines on 29 December 2025. Keynote and invited speakers include Prof. Zakiyuddin (UIN Salatiga), Prof. Nasr Muhammad Arif (Cairo University), and other esteemed experts from Indonesia and abroad.

The conference will cover a wide range of interdisciplinary topics related to sustainability, such as climate change, green technologies, sustainable business, cultural approaches, education, food security, and urban planning. It emphasizes bridging academic insight with practical solutions aligned with the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Participants are encouraged to submit papers that explore innovative, interdisciplinary research and real-world applications. Selected papers will be peer-reviewed and published in a Proceedings Book by Taylor & Francis, proposed for Scopus Indexing and made Open Access.
